The Womans Center has a Certified Lactation Specialist (CLS) available daily during office hours. Rebekka Lindsay, RN, CLS has been trained, educated and certified in assisting breastfeeding mothers. The primacy focus of a CLS is to provide support to breastfeeding women and manage different breastfeeding circumstances. Some breastfeeding issues include: proper latch, low milk supply, engorgement, and proper use of pumping. Our CLS is available for questions, concerns, and meetings concerning breastfeeding to provide on-site lactation education and counseling.
